Team Cleric

Very carefully considering coming back again. I've re-upped my account, and I've bought an authenticator, and I'm thinking of getting Haet and/or Herai back into the swing of things. Probably running heroics for a while to get some tier gear, but maybe running once or twice with you guys for raids. My DPS sucks (probably 2k-ish) because of the changes to heart strike and scourge strike and howling blast, but i'm happy to have at it again.

You should be able to gear up pretty fast using the new dungeon finder; the first random one gives you two Frost emblems, which are the new top-level emblem, and all subsequent ones give you Triumphs. At 4-5 emblems per instance, they can build up pretty fast as long as you've got the patience to keep doing it. You don't have to use the dungeon finder solo, either; if there's guildies on, mention it and I'm sure at least someone will go with you.

Awesome, yay! I'm going to be hitting heroics pretty hard tomorrow and Monday. Poke me if I'm on and you want to run stuff (that goes for everybody really). More guildies = less fail.

The best part is that you can sit in Dal and queue over and over and over again.

No time flying to stones or anything.

I've tried the LFG queue a few times, but the wait is more than my attention span can handle. I attribute this to the fact that I'm playing around 3-5am PST. Slim pickins at that hour!

Also, I've gone and gotten myself an authenticator, so if you see some questionable amounts taken out of the guild bank, rest assured that i'm actually using that shit for crafting/consumption/etc. It'll be a cold day in hell before someone guesses my password AND my authenticator code.

Mostly playing Alisseah right now, trying to get her to 65 so's she can start northrend tailoring. Netherweave bags are selling at 15g A PIECE! When I last played they were selling for 7g! Considering I had about 60-ish netherweave bolts on me, I put a few up on the AH and I've got a few more in storage. Gon' be early xmas for Al this year!

What are you putting yourself in as? If you select tank or heals, it doesn't take nearly as long as selecting just DPS. And yeah, time probably has something to do with it, too.

Tanks get in in 3 seconds.

Tank+healer takes a little longer. About ten.

DPS queue time is sad and long especially at off-peak times, but still faster than finding five people, getting two of them to the stone, getting summons out, replacing the inevitable guy who bails saying "oh I gotta go raid/work/sleep/etc, srry", etc.

I have had to wait a couple minutes when I go in as heals, because I don't heal random dungeons (I mean, I would for guild tanks who are fail-free, but not a full random group of players, ew)

And on the flip side of things, looks like I'll be taking a break from WoW. I just don't log in enough to get my money's worth anymore. Perhaps in a few months when the craving sets back in, or when Cataclysm comes out you'll see Trelin and co. back. Note: You may see me up until Jan 5th or so don't be startled if I show up after this message.
