Why I missed the raid tonight

The Muse struck, and I decided to do a painting today, I figured it'd be done by raid time.

However, the colors that looked good in my head and on the pallette did NOT look good on the canvas. It looked like technicolor vomit for hours, until finally I just painted over the whole thing with multiple coats of solid color and basically redid it entirely.

But it's done, and it came out OK!
